Moving in tomorrow

Call the same day. We can still set up the other services with you, and send the local-utility information for you to enroll.

Moving in tomorrow

Sometimes the keys show up tomorrow and nothing has been set up. Call (877) 587-9566 the same day, with the full address and the hour you expect possession. On that call we will set up what can still be set up with you: internet, TV, deregulated electricity, security, and the other non-local services the providers can still accept. We will also send the gas, water, trash, and regulated-electric information immediately, so you can enroll before their cutoff. Urgency does not let us speak to those local providers for you.

The first hour

Have a photo ID and a card ready. The local utilities may want both, and they will want them from you. Clear time after our call for those enrollments. Do not fill that time with packing. The packing can happen at midnight. The water office cannot.

If you use the online form, still call when the move is tomorrow. Say the start is the next day so the call is treated as immediate.

What to finish before anything else

  • Our call, so the services we can set up are actually set up
  • Regulated electric, if that is your market, enrolled by you
  • Gas, if the home uses it
  • Water, if the city requires a start order
  • Trash, if it does not start on its own

Television extras can wait if the connection itself was set up. A finished streaming login does not start municipal water.

How a same-day local enrollment sounds

Tell them you have possession tomorrow and ask the earliest start they can put on an account you are opening now. Ask the cutoff. Ask whether a deposit has to clear first. Write the confirmation number down before you hang up. If they cannot start tomorrow, there may not be another company. Regulated electric, water, and trash are often the only provider. The gap is then a cooler and a charged phone, not a second brand from an ad.

For internet and deregulated electric, the limiting question is asked on our call: can they still install or start on this date, with you agreeing now? If they cannot, we will say so before anything is set up. We will not promise a truck we cannot book.

What we will not do on a rush

We will not submit the gas, water, trash, or regulated electric application. We will not tell you those accounts are open because the other services were set up. We will get the local names and numbers out quickly, and we will complete the other setups with you if the providers can still take them.

Partners standing next to a client in this situation should hand them the phone for our call, then hand them the local notes and let them enroll. Telling them the office "handled the utilities" is the sentence that fails the next morning.

Common questions

Is next-morning regulated electric possible?

Sometimes, if you finish that utility's enrollment before their cutoff and they accept the premise. You will hear it from them. We will not guess.

Can the other services be set up tonight?

Yes, on the call, when those providers can take a same-day or next-day start. You agree to the plan and the date before we complete it.

Who do I call if I arrive and the power is out?

If electric was set up on our call, use that confirmation and call us if the order is wrong. If electric is regulated, use the confirmation from your own enrollment. If you have neither, you are not started. Call us to sort which list it is on, then enroll if it is local.

If you have more than a day, use when to start instead of this page.
